PRESCOTT CENTER FOR THE ARTS
11th Annual Prescott Ghost Talk Too!
Where Legends Come Alive!
Directed by Erica Muse
Ghost Talk is, first and foremost, a fundraiser for the theater’s youth scholarship programs. As it grows year-to-year and becomes more lucrative, more area youth can get involved in our theater programs like the PCA Summer Youth Program and the Young Playwrights Festival.
Ghost Talk is a compilation of ghost stories from around Yavapai County, but they’re not just stories . . . all fact-checked, these tales are about or based-on events and people for which there’s actual historical evidence, like the legend about a ghost at Hotel Vendome. All the stories in “Ghost Talk” are based on things that actually happened, whether those places are still haunted is up to each individual person to decide.
In its current form at Stage Too, this is its second year. Prior to that it took place on our Mainstage for nine years and was written and directed by Karen Murphy. It is now written by Parker Anderson, who was involved in the original version over at Sharlot Hall Museum years ago, and it’s directed by Erica Muse. The Stage Too venue allows us to create a more intimate experience for all those who attend. As a theater in the round the patrons are up-close to the character allowing them to feel more personally involved in the show and the stories.
Join us for Ghost Talk TOO! and see how our program has grown.
